How Is Yoga Harmful?
Yoga is not just stretching or exercise. Yoga is a spiritual yoke, and you can't separate it from that.

As a certified yoga teacher, I have completed extensive training in areas such as yoga philosophy, the history of yoga, and the yoga sutras of Patanjali. I am also a former member of the Yoga Alliance (RYT Hatha Yoga 200hr), which boasts "Many paths, One Yoga Alliance" as its' motto. I am committed to revealing the deception yoga as a practice has over Christians, that it can simply be exercise. It is a spiritual practice, and at the very root and core of every pose, there is a yoke.
B.K.S. Iyengar, a man who is considered one of the “fathers of yoga”, wrote a book called the Tree of Yoga where he says the following about what yoga truly is, “Yoga means union. The union of the individual soul with the Universal Spirit is yoga.” Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means "to yoke", "to connect", "to unite", and Sanskrit is a liturgical language, meaning it is sacred.
According to Iyengar, yoga yokes you to the "Universal Spirit" (not Jesus). According to Matthew 11:28-30 we are to take His yoke upon us (and only His), for we know that He is the (only) Way, (only) Truth, the (only) Light. Whereas yoga and the alliance will boast there are "many paths". This is new age deception that leads to accepting false ancient notions of universalism. The practice of yoga (asana, pranayama, pratyahara) is bodily worship of creation, Hindu gods, mystic Vedic spirits, and yes, even demons.
